A Lovely Sunday

Sundays are my favorite day of the week. I always think of Sunday as the last day of the week, like most people do. I'm not sure why I love Sundays but they have always been my favorite. Since I moved, I haven't really been doing my normal Sunday routine which consisted of working (when I had a job) and being lazy all day long. I normally stay in my pajamas all day and catch up on my Netflix. Unfortunately, I have watched all of the New Girl episodes on Netflix. When will season two be uploaded?!?! I'm getting very anxious!

Today, I slept in, which is nice because I was up late last night. I read a little bit of Game of Thrones which is the current book I am reading.  It is really good thus far but I am still just at the beginning. Then I had a cup of coffee and breakfast. I also practiced my guitar. I have been practicing the basic chords a lot these past couple of days. I want to be able to play some of my favorite songs on guitar but I obviously have to get the chords down first.

After doing chores around the house (laundry, washing the sheets, cleaning my room, etc) I decided to go over to my aunt and uncle's house. My cousin Ryan turned eight this week and I still hadn't given him his gift. I got him The Hobbit by Tolkien and the matching Lego set. He is a huge Lego enthusiast and wants to be a Lego Engineer when he gets older. I guess those are the people who create the various sets. Sounds like the perfect job for him! After catching up with them, I decided to head to Whole Foods and go exploring.

Whole Foods has become one of my new favorite places to get groceries besides Trader Joe's. They have a huge assortment of organic food and it is every food connoisseur's dream.  I picked up a few things that I would need for the week which included an abundance of fruits and vegetables. I also got their California Rolls from the sushi section. I know that grocery store sushi sounds unappetizing but I have to admit, Whole Foods sushi is pretty good. After getting the essentials, I headed down to the Marina to take some pictures and enjoy my late lunch. I also got a Pumpkin Spice Latte at Starbucks. Sushi and coffee seems like an odd combination, but I love both of them! It was my first festive drink of the season. I was pretty excited.

Now I am home and I have to catch up on a few homework assignment which is always fun. I don't have school on Monday but I want to finish my assignments early. It's getting close to dinner time as I write this blog post. The sun will begin to set soon. The rest of my evening will probably consist of homework, dinner, practicing guitar, and reading some more Game of Thrones. I sound like I am a elderly lady! Overall, today was a lovely Sunday and I feel refreshed for what the week has to offer.
No visitors after sunset.
Out to sea.
The first of many Pumpkin Lattes from Starbucks.
A day at the bay.
